Complete Build Up Consultation
Every roof and wall build-up needs to work as one system. We support customers in designing full assemblies, reviewing external sheets, insulation, vapour barriers, fixings, rooflights, sealants and flashings to ensure compatibility, compliance and ease of installation.
Our service includes advice on thermal performance, acoustic control, fire ratings, condensation risk and structural load paths. By assessing how each layer performs, we help contractors avoid conflicts between products and achieve the correct U-values, acoustic ratings and structural capacity without overengineering.
Leoclad can also produce indicative layer build-ups and system outlines for review, supporting early-stage design, tender submissions and client presentations.
Product and Specification Advice
Drawing on more than 15 years of industry experience, we offer independent advice on the correct product specification for roofing and cladding systems. This covers everything from sheet gauge and fixing type to coating system, washer selection, insulation thickness and daylighting ratios.
We can review project drawings, specification documents and site conditions to identify the most suitable products for performance, cost and compliance. Support includes coating and environment compatibility (e.g. C1–C5 exposure classes), fire performance guidance, and help aligning material choice with project warranties or manufacturer approvals.
Pull Out Testing and Technical Verification
We provide on-site pull-out testing and verification services to confirm fixing performance in real substrates such as steel, concrete and masonry. Tests are carried out with calibrated equipment, and results are supplied with recorded data showing pull-out loads, failure modes and compliance to relevant standards.
This service can be used to verify existing fixings in refurbishment projects, assess alternative products before specification, or form part of quality assurance documentation for project handover. Regular testing also helps contractors demonstrate due diligence and technical compliance on site.
Profile Matching Services
When a roof or wall sheet is discontinued or no longer roll-formed, we provide a full profile matching service. We attend site to measure the existing profile and produce accurate hand-folded replacements that maintain the same form and finish.
