Our Services

Leoclad Supplies provides practical product knowledge and technical support to roofing and cladding contractors and distributors across the UK. Backed by more than 15 years’ industry experience, we help customers clarify requirements, compare available information and make informed ordering decisions.

Roof and Wall Build-up Support

Support with bringing together the products needed for your proposed roof or wall construction.

This can include sheets, liners, insulation, rooflights, spacer bars, fixings, tapes, sealants and flashings. We compare available manufacturer information covering thermal, acoustic, fire and structural performance and highlight where calculations, condensation assessments or further confirmation are needed.

Indicative product schedules and build-up outlines can support quotations and early project discussions. These provide product and supply support rather than project design or certification. Design, calculations, regulatory compliance and final approval remain with the appointed designer, engineer or specifier.

Product and Specification Support

Help turning drawings, schedules and specification extracts into clear product enquiries.

Drawing on more than 15 years’ industry experience, we compare available options for profiles, gauges, coatings, colours, panel and insulation thicknesses, rooflights and fixings. This helps identify relevant products, omissions and details requiring clarification before an order is placed.

Support is based on the information supplied and available manufacturer data. Project design and regulatory approval remain with the responsible designer or specifier, while manufacturer warranty confirmation must come from the relevant manufacturer.

On-site Pull-out Testing and Reporting

On-site testing that records measured loads and the observed response of selected fixings at agreed locations.

We provide on-site tensile pull-out testing of suitable roofing and cladding fixings using a calibrated Hydrajaws M0095 long stroke tester, subject to an agreed scope, suitable access and substrate conditions. The test purpose, fixing type, locations, sample quantity and target load or test endpoint should be agreed with the responsible engineer, specifier or fixing manufacturer before work begins.

The report records the test locations, fixing and substrate information provided, measured loads and observed response or failure mode where applicable. It provides factual site data and does not determine design resistance, safe working load, compliance or suitability. Results must be interpreted and accepted by the responsible engineer or specifier.

Profile Matching Service

Help identifying existing roofing and cladding profiles and exploring practical replacement options.

When an existing roof or wall profile is discontinued or cannot be identified, we can attend site to record key dimensions and help establish the closest practicable replacement. Where feasible, replacement sheets can be arranged by roll forming or hand folding.

Matching flashings, trims and closure pieces can also be arranged from agreed drawings or dimensions. An exact match in shape, cover width, coating, colour, gloss or weathered appearance may not always be possible. The proposed lap, sealing and fixing details must be assessed for the repair before installation.

A clear photograph of the sheet end, together with any known profile name or dimensions, gives us a useful starting point.
